How we handle your information.

What we collect

When you contact us through this site (estimate request, contact form, phone call, or email), we collect:

• Your name, phone, and email address
• Your service address, city, and ZIP
• The type of project you are asking about, and any notes you share

We also collect basic, non-identifying analytics (page views, browser type, referring source) so we can understand which pages help homeowners and which need work.

How we use it

• To respond to your estimate request and schedule an inspection or consultation
• To coordinate scheduling, materials, and project updates if you become a customer
• To send occasional follow-ups (e.g., a check-in after your roof goes on), and you can opt out anytime

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your information to anyone.
• We do not share your information with third-party marketers, data brokers, or lead aggregators.
• We do not text or email you marketing material without your consent.

Who sees your information

Inside COPA Homes: the people working on your project (estimator, project manager, office staff). Outside COPA Homes: only when required to do the work, such as your insurance adjuster (with your permission), a manufacturer registering your warranty, or a permit office if your project needs one.

Cookies and tracking

We group the cookies and tracking on this site into three categories. You can accept or reject the analytics and advertising categories at any time using the cookie banner or the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer. Until you accept, advertising and analytics storage stay turned off by default.

Essential (always on)

Needed for the site to load, keep your consent choice, and submit forms securely. These do not track you across other sites and cannot be turned off without breaking core features.

Analytics (off until you accept)

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — measures page views, traffic sources, and which pages help homeowners. Loads only with storage consent.

Advertising (off until you accept)

• Google Ads — measures the effectiveness of our advertising and conversions. Ad personalization and ad-related storage stay denied until you accept, and are treated as a standing opt-out if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.

Form intake

When you submit a form, your contact information is sent securely to our own intake system, which we run as part of this website, so we can respond to your request. This is processing you ask us to do, not advertising tracking.

Your Colorado privacy rights

If you are a Colorado resident, the Colorado Privacy Act gives you the following rights over the personal data we hold. To exercise any of them, email hello@copahomes.com or call (303) 578-6701. We will verify your request before acting on it.

• Access — ask whether we are processing your personal data and get a copy of it.
• Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate personal data.
• Delete — ask us to delete personal data we hold about you.
• Data portability — get a copy of your data in a portable, usable format.
• Opt out of targeted advertising — tell us not to use your data for targeted ads. Use the cookie banner, the Your Privacy Choices footer link, or a browser Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor as a universal opt-out.
• Appeal — if we deny a request, you may appeal, and you may contact the Colorado Attorney General if you disagree with the outcome.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not process it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Change your cookie choices anytime: use the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of any page to re-open the cookie banner and update your consent.

Your choices

• Ask us what we have on you. Email hello@copahomes.com and we will tell you.
• Ask us to delete it. Same email. We will delete everything we are not required to keep (e.g., signed contracts for completed projects, which are retained per Colorado contractor record-keeping rules).
• Opt out of follow-ups. Reply STOP to any text, unsubscribe from any email, or just tell us.
